Charter for the protection of your personal data

Respecting the privacy of its customers and their Personal Data is a priority for Panda Communication.

The charter for the protection of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “the Charter”) defines the commitments made in the context of the collection, use and archiving of this Personal Data.

Panda Communication acts as the “Data Controller”. This is the structure that defines the type of information collected and the use made of this information.

  1. Collection of personal data

The personal data collected by Panda Communication is as follows: Surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address and customer address.

It may also involve data collected via Cookies deposited when Customers browse the Panda Communication website (hereinafter “the Site”).

  1. Recipients of personal data

Personal data is reserved for the sole use of Panda Communication, its employees, trainees and partners.

  1. Treatment limitation

Data is collected, used and stored transparently, confidentially and securely.

They will enable the performance of the service for which the Customer has contacted Panda Communication.

The data collected via cookies is used to ensure the proper operation and improvement of the Site, helping us to improve our Site by compiling statistics, particularly with regard to the information consulted.

In addition, unless the customer expressly objects, personal data may be used for advertising or marketing purposes. The customer authorizes the service provider to use the customer’s name and services for its own communication policy.

  1. Data retention period

Panda Communication keeps the Data in a readable format for the following periods:

– Data collected via cookies: maximum duration 6 months

– Data collected as part of the contractual relationship: duration of the service plus a period of 3 years, for requests and information from Panda Communication. In addition, the data required for invoicing purposes is kept for a period of 10 years, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

Beyond these periods, your Data is deleted as soon as Panda Communication’s legal obligations are fulfilled.

 

  1. Security and confidentiality

The Service Provider implements organizational, technical, software and physical digital security measures to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and the Service Provider cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information over the Internet.

 

  1. Implementing customer and user rights

Pursuant to the regulations applicable to personal data, customers have the following rights:

  • They may update or delete their personal data by sending an e-mail to the following address: donnees@panda-communication.fr
  • They can delete their account by writing to the above e-mail address
  • They may exercise their right of access to their personal data by writing to the above address
  • If the personal data held by the Service Provider is inaccurate, they may request that the information be updated by writing to the address given above.
  • They may request the deletion of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, by writing to the above address.
  • They may also request the portability of data held by the Service Provider to another service provider.
  • Finally, they may object to the processing of their data by the Service Provider.

These rights, provided they do not conflict with the purpose of the processing, may be exercised by sending a request by post or e-mail to the Data Controller whose contact details are given above.

Customers are informed that in the event of refusal, they may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 PARIS) or refer the matter to a judicial authority.

The Customer may be asked to tick a box to agree to receive informative and advertising e-mails from the Service Provider. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Service Provider (contact details above) or by following the unsubscribe link.
